Sleek Space

The clean sleek lines and big open light of this renovated duplex apartment in the East Village is a modern well-designed beauty. A couple of my favorite features include the shallow reflecting pool dual purposed to
capture water droplets from the garden wall, and to hold a
variety of colorful goldfish!  I also love the Mondrian reference they refer to with the wall-panels which have hidden awesome pops of color. This residence is designed by Pulltab Design who does brilliant work.

Natural Chic

I am a bit behind on going through my magazine stack, but I dig Keri Russell's home as shown in Elle Decor. The combo of wood, metal and neutrals are lovely and it feels rather French to me. Love it, what do you think?

Modern Fire Island Home

The bright pops of color and stripes in this Fire Island home designed by Alexandra Angle Interior Design make me really happy. There is something about yellow that screams summer, right? This brilliant colorful chair (which is also in this home) is what led me to see more of Alexandra Angle's work!

Contemporary Comfort

'Contemporary with a not to quirky, Euro Style' is how Style at Home editor Erin McLauchlin defines her narrow row house space. It looks like a great combo of minimal design, pops of color and comfort -- my favorite. See more photos and read more about the space at Style at Home.

What do you think?

Happy Weekend!

Here are a few things that I saw this week that made me smile...

1. Croatia House, isn't that bedroom gorgeous? by Reese Robers + Partners spotted at Full House

2 + 3. I received my Anthology Magazine #2 in the mail -- it is incredible, you should subscribe, if you don't already! It led me to their site/blog where I fell in love with that amazing Paper Globe by Geografia and also the awe inspiring photography deconstructions by Todd Mclellan that they shared.

Have a fabulous weekend!
