b- when i was growing up i was surrounded by latin culture. i idolized the tomboy chola look and loved the strong woman it portrayed. i wanted to tweak this style by modernizing it in my own humorous way.
d- the definition of trompe-l'oeil is french for 'deceive the eye.' it's an art technique that creates the optical illusion that the subject is three dimensional. blair's shirt is a great example of this popular style and her inner gangster.
